An appliance that works on heating effect consumes more electricity.
Because iron has no more excess binding energy left to release. Iron fusion consumes energy, it does not generate it.
Refrigerator- it takes more power to kick on and it pulls more electricity than a light bulb
It depends on the cost of electricity and the cost of natural gas in your area. Generally, using a 5000 BTU natural gas heater is cheaper than using a 1500 watt electric heater. Natural gas is typically more cost-effective for heating compared to electricity.
halogen
If a refrigerator is off, it consumes no electicity.

Iron is used in electricity in many different ways. For example, it is used in fuel cells by using an iron-based molecule. This in turn makes them more economical.
A television that has been set into stand by mode will still use some electricity. The electricity usage is much less than if the television was fully on but more than if it was off.
It consumes less electricity for the same Lux and hence is more economic.
it is cheaper, conduct electricity better then iron, more ductile and maleable

heat: electricity runs though a small filament compared to the amperage. also you should use IRON wire because it is more resistant to electricity. (i.e. you could have a 1mm iron wire 10 m in legth and 15 amps flowing though *i think*)
