Upon researching the Speed Dial app for Chrome and Firefox (also known as an add-on), it has been discovered that Pavel Shcherbakov was the developer. He has developed 6 add-ons to date.
It depends on one's personal choice. If speed is taken into consideration, Chrome is faster than Firefox.
If you mean Browsers FireFox is fast and stable, along with Opera and Chrome. IE8 is ok also, my reccomendation is firefox because of it's huge ammounts of plugins, addons, fast speed, security and stability.
I use two web browsers: Mozilla Firefox & Google Chrome. I usually use google chrome, as it is much faster to start up and when browsing is much more responsive. I prefer Google chrome for its speed, but still use Mozilla Firefox for its customizability and better ad-blocking when using Adblock Plus add-on. (Google Chrome has an Adblock Plus extension also, but it is still in Beta stage of development and sometimes misses a few ads.) I would recommend both browsers.
Depends on which speed test you use, and which version of the software is used. In the latest betas, your internet speed will probably cause you to have negligible differences. However, Opera comes built in with things such as Mouse Gestures and Voice Control that helps speed up browsing (it is worth mentioning that Firefox can also gain these features through extensions, even though that will make Firefox consume a slightly larger amount of RAM). Also, Opera betas come with a feature called "Opera Turbo" that compresses web pages through their own servers in order to make loading faster (this is because of a smaller amount of content coming through only one server, not because of an actual speed increase).
If you want everything-in-one - Opera If you want extensions, plugins, etc. etc. - Firefox If you just want speed and reliability - Google Chrome
It isn't if you are willing to try the newest incarnation. speed is on par with Google chrome. however , add-ons are not keeping up with the rapid pace of development. If you really want speed you have to go with the developers route Firefox 8.0a1 is blazing fast and I have found it to be quite stable even in it's alpha phase.
There is no "faster browser". Downloading speed will depend on what kind of internet service you have ect. I think downloading is by far the easiest on chrome though and I like chrome better anyway
The fastest browser can vary depending on the type of content being loaded and the device it's running on. However, some commonly recognized fast browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, each known for their speed and performance.
While Google Chrome is a bit faster then FireFox, Google Chrome often renders pages incorrectly and has trouble with some websites, although it at first appears to be cleaner then FF, FF can be customized and icons can be removed or made smaller, however you can't remove the file bar in FF that is considered useless to some people due to the keyboard shortcuts, GC has no file bar and doesn't present this problem and the keyboard shortcuts still work, FF has many add-ons and customizations, while Google Chrome has none.
The speed of a Google Chrome browser is very high. Combined with the internet speed, it becomes one of the fastest browsers to work with.
There are many different browsers that internet surfers can now install and use to browse the web. Chrome, created by Google, is one of the most popular browsers due to its speed and ease of use. Firefox, a creation of Mozilla, is also favored due to its security and support offered. Opera is also a growing browser in the market, with a great feature set and competitive navigation speeds
More popular is IE (Internet Explorer), because you get it with Windows, many people don't know how to install other browser so the are using IE. But I think that FireFox is better, because you can install plug-ins and etc. Im using FireFox :)AnswerFirefox is the more popular than the internet explorer firefox has following advantages over other browsers .Security: Using Firefox will block many websites from trying to install spyware and other mal-ware from getting onto your computer, which is a common problem with other browsers.Popup blocking: Firefox has a very good built in popup blocker that blocks all those annoying popups when you open up a web page.Advanced Features: Firefox has many advanced features like tabbed browsing (click to learn about tabbed browsing) that has all of your open pages in tabs in one window instead of having every page on a different window.Extensions: Firefox has many useful extensions and plugins (click to learn how to install plugins).
