It isn't if you are willing to try the newest incarnation. speed is on par with Google chrome. however , add-ons are not keeping up with the rapid pace of development. If you really want speed you have to go with the developers route Firefox 8.0a1 is blazing fast and I have found it to be quite stable even in it's alpha phase.
you may need to check the system requirements... and the background process on you system..
Oh honey, let me tell you straight - Firefox is the way to go. Internet Explorer is like that outdated outfit you should've thrown out years ago. It's slow, full of bugs, and just not worth the hassle. So do yourself a favor and make the switch to Firefox - your browsing experience will thank you.
Internet explorer or FireFox is needed for some, but internet explorer is like epic slow, (google chrome doesn't work for a few) so i would say FireFox
For me, you should uninstall IE8. Mozilla Firefox is faster and better. IE8 is kind of slow for me. Thank You!
Installing Firefox usually will not cause your computer to run noticeably more slowly than any other browser.
Well You Can Use Firefox,Google Chrome But...You Shouldn't Cause Firefox Is Realy Slow And You'll Fail alot But i Say You Should Use Google Chrome And IE
It's certainly slowing mine down.
Firefox is open source, so yes any version of Firefox is free.
They are stored in the program itself so you can only delete them through Firefox.
yes but it depends on how big the game is if its just a flash it shouldn't slow it down notacibly ie i want to install simcity 3000 but my bro thinks it slow firefox down... does it and how much?? not at all fire fox is an app it may slow the loading of it so like when you click on it it may take the sourtcut a while to open but not much if its small thanks!!
No, it's just slow and doesn't offer much security. You might want to go with Firefox, or Google Chrome.
Firefox has a bug in version 3.6.11, 3.6.12, 3.6.13+ This bug is a problem in SQLite and causes bookmarks to become unbearably slow when searching on some systems. The estimated fix will be released with the public version of Firefox 4 however I urge you to politely ask them to create a hotfix update before it's release. at support.mozilla.com A link to the correct report is in the related links section below. As a current workaround you can try these things:Search your bookmarks from the address barUninstall Firefox, then reinstall Firefox 3.6.10Use another browser.
