The Battle of Fallen Timbers took place in Ohio. With 1000 soldiers, General Anthony Wayne defeated the combined forces of the Miami, Shawnee, Iroquois, and other tribes. This defeat forced Native American tribes to cede most of Ohio, and parts of Illinois, Michigan and Indiana to the United States.
