Moses.
Moses was an Israelite, a great-great grandson of Jacob. He eventually achieved the highest level of prophecy (Deuteronomy ch.34). He brought the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery (Exodus ch.12). He received the Torah from God (Exodus 24:12) and later recorded it in writing (Deuteronomy 31:24). He went up on Mount Sinai for 40 days and nights (Deuteronomy ch.9-10) and brought down the Two Stone Tablets with the Ten Commandments (Exodus 31:18). He brought the Israelites into the covenant with God (Exodus ch.19 and ch.24), and he oversaw the building of the Tabernacle (Exodus ch.35-40).

"Gods revered, never evil, delivered as gods."
yes they did believed that the Israelites believed that God delivered the ten commandments to them through moses because God did. He thought Moses would be more safer with the commandments then others.
The most prominent prophet in the Bible is considered to be Moses. He delivered key messages such as the Ten Commandments, leading the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, and establishing a covenant between God and the Israelites.
No one, since the Hebrews (Israelites) did not have gods. They worshiped One God and still do.
God made the Israelites abide by so many laws because like a father he gave them laws to help rehabilitate them.
They followed the laws of the Torah. For some examples:The Torah's laws

No. It was normal for the ancients to have many gods, and the Israelites were not different in that respect. If there is anything unique about the Hebrew people it is the Bible, but that was written among the people of Judah, long after the destruction of Israel.
