The Titanic was designed by Thomas Andrews. He also thought of the name for the ship.
Oh, and one other thing; the name is supposed to be the RMS Titanic.
The RMS stands for "Royal Mail Ship".

A Glory-hole steward was a steward who looked after the stewards themselves, or at least after the part of the ship in which they were located.
