There are, of course, many iron bridges all around the world but one which is sufficiently famous to be commonly referred to as "The Iron Bridge" is across the River Severn in Shropshire, England.
The part of the river which it spans is named Ironbridge Gorge and the town of Ironbridge is a major tourist attraction which promotes itself as "The birthplace of the Industrial Revolution."
It was the first arch bridge in the world to be constructed from cast iron and it's construction was one of the landmark events, if not exactly the birthplace, of The Industrial Revolution.
