Nicholaus Copernicus can be called the father of modern astronomy. He is generally credited to be the proponent of the heliocentric theory. He said in his book"De Revolutionibus" that Ptolemy's system of epicycles was wrong while giving proof that his theory which stated that the earth was at the center of the universe. His work paved way for the golden age of astronomy Nicolas claimed that the world revolved around the sun. This was a big blow because that affected the religion of some places.
Gravity
mica has the specific gravity of 2.88
The gravity of the moon and the gravity of the sun.
The international dateline has normal gravity; our time zone conventions have no effect on the gravity of the planet Earth.
sir issac newton developed it
Isaac newton developed the laws of gravity when an apple fell out of a tree and hit him on the head.
the first hing he made was a reflecting telescope
i can tell u 2 sorry invented calculus the reflecting telescope And.... the obvious 1, gravity!!!! (i think!) Kylolias : He created the law of Gravity, intestimal calculus, the first reflecting telescope and many more.
Richard B Nelson has written: 'Tables for the determination of the optical effects of gravity on radially supported telescopic mirrors' -- subject(s): Mirrors, Reflecting Telescope, Telescope, Reflecting
He invented infinitesimal calculus, reflecting telescope and explained gravity. He also invented the newtons. They are the measurement of some forces.
It was Sir Isac Newton.
Calculus and lots of laws of physics. The only thing he really invented was the reflecting telescope. He did not invent gravity but he discovered the existence of gravity.
They were many and varied. He invented the reflecting telescope and calculus. Devised the laws of gravity, made significant contributions to optics. Was Master of the Mint
Newton's greatest achievements are the Law of Gravity, his laws of Motion, his development of Calculus, the Reflecting Telescope, his Theory of Light and his use of data, experiments and mathematical models.
Newton was English. He made many contributions including inverting the reflecting telescope and formulating a quite good theory of gravity and orbital mechanics. He shares the invention of the calculus with Leibniz.
Inverse square law of gravity, calculus (which he called fluxions), Newton-Raphson method, decomposition of light from a prism, etc etc. He also made the reflecting telescope.
