She is most associated with her role as Alice,the maid on the mega-hit tv series "The Brady Bunch" of the 1960's.Never married and never having children; Hollywood insiders knew she was a lesbian.This in a time when sexuality was never publicly discussed and people were rarely open or candid about their sexuality,particularly if it was not strictly heterosexual.
