british
No they didn't.
they fought alongside Britain, Russia, France
To encourage Indian people to fight alongside them in World War I, the British promised greater political concessions and reforms in return for their support. They emphasized the idea of protecting the British Empire and framed the war as a fight for civilization against tyranny. Additionally, they appealed to nationalist sentiments by suggesting that India would gain recognition and respect as a result of its contributions to the war effort.
China
everyone knows that if north Korea is going to go to war with south Korea that china is going to support the north. India has had a bad relationship with china because china is controlling the aksai chin and arunachal Pradesh. so I think India will go to war against the north because of its bad relationships with china and I really don't think India likes the north that much and the us is one its main allies. so yah I don't think India will support the north and instead will fight alongside the south.
they were not involved
Lemuel Hayes was among 5,000 African Americans to fight alongside the Patriots amidst the Revolutionary War.
No India as a country did not fight in world war 1 however some Indian soldiers assisted British soldiers in the war. Hope this helps :)
