No Jesus did not appoint another person to take Judas place. The disciples did it.
Jerusalem. This is where Jesus was crucified, and this is where his disciples first preached his resurrection.
Jesus died on the cross at calvarry.
The 12 apostles were disciples of Jesus Christ who lived in various regions in the ancient Near East, primarily in Judea and Galilee. After Jesus's death and resurrection, they spread out to different parts of the known world to preach the teachings of Christianity.
Jesus did have female disciples, but you must remember the events of the Gospels took place in a different culture and over 2000 years ago it wasn't the same in the world as it is now.
they wer afraid to be arrested so they hid in a place
John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if i go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also". Jesus has promised to return and take believer's to be where ever He is.
He didn't make them work for Him, they followed Him from place to place to serve/honor Him. He only had them do one thing: go spread the word after He rose.
The gospel of Mark in the second gospel chronologically, and he may not have been one of the 12 apostles, but he certainly had a spiritual walk with Jesus. His mothers house was the place the disciples met after Jesus' resurrection. Some believe it was her house the last supper was eaten in with Jesus and his disciples. If this is so, Mark probably did know Jesus personally while he was on earth.
At the Last Supper, in the Upper Room. It was the last meal Jesus shared with His disciples before He was crucified.
