∙ 11y agoHe traveled to other regions and countries throughout the Middle East, and supposedly, as far east as China and its provinces. Marco Polo wrote and published a book, entitled the Travels of Marco Polo, which is divided into chapters in which Polo describes the politics, agriculture, military power, economy, sexual practices, burial system, and religions of each area he traveled to. It's also said that Polo brought the ideas of paper currrency and coal to Europe, probably from either the Middle Eastern or Asian regions that he visited. In his book, Polo also included second-hand reports of areas that he hadn't visited, such as Japan and Madagascar, and possibly other areas.
