Stephenie Meyer suggested esteemed actors Emily Browning and Henry Cavill for the roles of Bella and Edward in "Twilight." Meyer mentioned her preference for Browning in several interviews, but ultimately Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were cast in those roles for the film adaptation.
