Dally.
After they kill Bob, they go to Dally for help.
Ponyboy hoped that Bob's parents hated the greasers because it would show that they were capable of feeling the same pain and loss that the greasers felt over Bob's death, helping them understand the consequences of their son's actions. It would also help Ponyboy feel a sense of justice and validation for his own pain and suffering.
The first character to die is jhonny, he was a greaser who was trying to save some kids from a burning building with ponyboy when a burning peice of wood fell on his back. Dally was not trying to help save the kids but was there where he rushed jhonny to the hospital with ponyboy where he died.
On the first occasion to she how they lived and to understand bobs life . On the second occasion it was to witness the impact of Tiny Tims death on the family should he not get the medical help needed.

I think ponyboy is a little happy because of the letters
Johnny tells Ponyboy to 'Stay Gold.' He wants him to keep his innocence.
In "The Outsiders," Ponyboy must hide out in an abandoned church for several days after he and Johnny are involved in a violent incident that results in the death of Bob. During this time, they rely on a supply of food and help from Dally, while Ponyboy struggles with feelings of guilt and isolation. He also uses this time to reflect on his life and the conflicts between the Greasers and the Socs.
