Jimi Hendrix casually dated several women during his brief life. In his early New York days before he went to London, he dated several wayward women that had reputations for being prostitutes. He felt he could save and nurture them.

Upon arriving in London in 1967, he began dating Kathy Etchingham. The two shared a flat with Jimi's manager Chas Chandler and his fiance. He had several encounters with women around Europe.

Later in his career he was linked to professional groupie Devon Wilson who was on Jimi's management's payroll as Jimi's assistant. She was also reported to have acted as a spy for his less than reputable manager, Michael Jeffrey, reporting on Jimi's meetings with prospective producers and managers.
