No one person "discovered" maths. And it is still evolving.

There is no highest math. The Complexity can be infinite. There is also a ton of math that hasn't been discovered yet.

Archimedes discovered how to work out the area of the circle, and he also discovered pi.

The rules of math have been discovered and forgotten and rediscovered through time. We do not know who actually startet although the babylonians were quite advanced. Regards.

He wasn't entirely the one who discovered it, but In his way of thinking he did. He also discovered Calculus, (what we call it). So yes, I suppose, he did discover maths. No, he did not discover math. Ancient civilizations had a good understanding of math including geometry sometimes referred to as sacred math. The Sumerians in particular had an understanding of it. Newton certainly developed aspects of it, but he did not discover it.

math does not help military tradition that i know of,but the discovery of math could have help military tradition be discovered.
