it was answered in 1400 and someone found it.

This had already been proposed by Greek astronomers Heraclides Ponticus and Hicetas in the 4th century BC (i.e. way before Muhammad lived and Islam was invented.)

It was first hypothesized that the earth spins on its axis by the ancient Greeks in the 4th century B.C.E. The actual proof came much later. It wasn't until Copernicus proposed a heliocentric solar system in 1543 that this belief began to be accepted. People pointed to Aristotle's opposite view and to The Bible to dispute Copernicus. Finally, in 1851, the Foucault pendulum was invented which was able to tie predicted movement with observed movement. It was discovered that earth's movement depended on a place's latitude.

Galileo Galilei was an astronomer who is credited for discoveries such as the rotation of the sun. This was an accidental discover due to what he originally believed was a smear on his telescope. Later he realized it was a dark spot on the sun that had moved. The movement of the spot confirmed the movement of the sun.

Over 1400 years ago in the Holy Quran.

"When you look at the mountains, you think that they are standing still. But they are moving like clouds. Such is the artistry of God, who disposes of all things in perfect order. He is indeed fully aware of what you do. 27-The Ant, 88"

The direction in which clouds move, the direction in which the atmosphere moves, the earth follows. The earths axis is counter clockwise, it moves towards the east. Its a well known fact that clouds move, they are powered by wind especially in times of storm as you say, in which they go in many directions, however they are also powered by the Coriolis effect, where they naturally travel from west to east which in essence is a result of the earths rotation Subhanallah!!

That statement has never been proven, and it can't be proven. Like evolution,

it's "just a theory". It's nothing but the explanation that best fits everything

we can see and measure. It can't be proven in a million years, but it can be

dis-proven in a day. As soon as you or anyone else comes along with an

explanation that comes closer to what astronomers observe, and makes

more accurate predictions, the old theory will be thrown out, and yours

will become the accepted one. That's how Science works.
