Friar Lawrence requests a crowbar to open Juliet's tomb and a letter to write to Romeo explaining the situation with Juliet.
A letter was sent from Friar Lawrence to Romeo who had been banished. Romeo had not intercepted this letter, and after having knowledge that Juliet was 'dead' he rushed to the tomb.

Romeo's advisor is Friar Lawrence and Juliet's is the nurse. However, when the nurse counsels her to commit bigamy, she goes to Friar Lawrence for help. The friar proves to be a broken reed, taking inadequate steps to advise Romeo of his plan and abandoning Juliet in the tomb which allows her to commit suicide.
Friar Lawrence finds Juliet's lifeless body and Romeo's dead body beside her. He sees that Romeo has taken his own life with poison, and Juliet has also killed herself with Romeo's dagger. The Friar's arrival prompts him to explain the tragic events to the Prince and the other characters.
