Miss Maudie
i know boo radley leaves them, and im pretty sure she thinks that too. sorry if im wrong
Scout believes that Boo Radley has been leaving the treasures for them in the knot-hole of the tree. This belief is based on the mysterious gifts they find and the rumors and stories they have heard about Boo.
Boo Radley (Ch 19) Scout thinks Mayella Ewell is the loneliest person in the world. Mayella Ewell was even lonelier than Boo Radley, who had not been out of the house in twenty five years.
Scout thinks that Mayella must be the loneliest person in the world because Mayella describes in her testimony her lack of friends and people her own age to talk to. Mayella wasn't just alone, though, she clearly yearned for companionship, so Scout believed she must be very lonely.
She thinks that Scout is not growing up how she expects a young lady to grow. As Scout lost her mother her only female company is their cook Calpurnia, but Scout tends to look up to her older brother Jem and follow in his footsteps, thus making her seem like a tomboy. Aunt Alexandra thinks that it is wrong of Atticus to bring Scout up in such a way therefore she stays with the family to teach Scout how to become a young lady. She also thinks that Atticus gives his children too much freedom, for example, when Scout asks her father if she could visit Calpurnia's home, Aunt Alexandra sees this as wrong and won't allow it due to the prejudice towards those people at that period of time. If Aunt Alexandra hadn't of been there Scout would of been allowed to visit. In conclusion it seems that Aunt Alexandra wants Jem and Scout to fit in with the society of that time, where as Atticus disagrees and thinks that everyone should be who they want to be and not be prejudiced against.
Scout is wrong because throughout the novel, Boo Radley has been quietly watching over and protecting Scout and Jem, such as leaving them presents in the knothole of the tree and saving them from Bob Ewell's attack. Despite Scout feeling that they haven't given Boo anything, their friendship and kindness have meant a lot to Boo and have given him a sense of connection and purpose.

Scout and Jem find two pieces of chewing gum, a ball of twine, and two Indian-head pennies in the knot hole of the tree. What frightens Scout is finding the gum and the twine, as they suspect someone has been leaving items for them in the tree, suggesting a hidden observer.
Scout and Jem believed the ball of gray twine was meant for them because it was found in the knot-hole of a tree near their house where they had previously been leaving and finding treasures. They interpreted the gift as a gesture from Boo Radley, who they believed was trying to communicate with them.
No. JFK was the first president to have been a boy scout as a youth. Gerald Ford is the only US president who had been an Eagle Scout.
You do have to be registered with the BSA to be a Scout leader, but you do not need to have been a Scout as a youth.
