The lews will be persecuted by the heathen, enemy nations, foreign nations, all people, and especially by the descendants of Ishmael, Edom, and Esau. In short, everyone would persecute the jews.

They were warned repeatedly that they would be cursed if they were not faithful to their covenant with God and what those curses would be and by whom. (They can't say they weren't warned). Deuteronomy 28:15 KJV (v.15) But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

Deuteronomy 28:47-50 KJV (v.47) Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

(v.48) Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemieswhich the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.(v.49) The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; (v.50) A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:

Deuteronomy 28:64 KJV (v.64) And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

Leviticus 26:33 KJV (v.33) And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Deuteronomy 28:64-65 KJV (v.64) And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. (v.65) And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

Leviticus 26:33 KJV (v.33) And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Deuteronomy 29:21-23 KJV (v.21) And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: (v.22) So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; (v.23) And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:

Genesis 27:40-43 KJV (v.40) And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. (v.41) And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob. (v.42) And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee. (v.43)Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;

And don't forget the anti-semitism of many of the the Christian churches, denominations, and leaders throughout history. For example, Luther was amti-semitic.

ANOTHER ANSWER;

The only Scriptures in which the word "Jews" is used in context with "persecution" are the ones in which "it is the Jews who are DOING the persecuting"... of God's churches! According to God's Word, it's the Jews in their inability to discern the Truth of the Scriptures whom Stephen reveals as the persecutors.

"...'You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the Truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? But your ancestors did, and so do you! NAME ONE PROPHET YOUR ANCESTORS DIDN'T PERSECUTE! They even killed the ones who predicted the coming of the Righteous One - the Messiah whom you betrayed and murdered. You DELIBERATELY DISOBEY GOD'S LAW [you deliberately 'sin' - see I John 3:4], though you received it from the hands of angels. The Jewish leaders were INFURIATED BY STEPHEN'S ACCUSATION, and they shook their fists in rage..." (Acts.7:51-55 NLT New Living Translation)

Paul himself confessed that, before his own conversion, that he was one of [if not THE] WORST OF THE PERSECUTORS:

"...'I am verily a man WHICH AM A JEW... brought up... at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and WAS ZEALOUS TOWARD GOD, AS YE ALL ARE THIS DAY. And I PERSECUTED THIS WAY UNTO THE DEATH, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women..." (Acts 22:3-4 KJV).

Same verses [NLT]: "...'I am a Jew... brought up... here in Jerusalem under Gamaliel. At his feet I learned to follow our Jewish laws and customs very carefully. I became very zealous to honor God in everything I did just as all of you are today. And I PERSECUTED THE FOLLOWERS OF THE WAY, hounding some to death, binding and delivering both men and women to prison...".

Paul confessed: "...'many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I PERSECUTED THEM even unto strange cities." (Acts 26:10-11 KJV)

Same verses [NLT]: "...Authorized by the leading priests, I caused many of the believers in Jerusalem to be sent to prison. And I cast my vote against them when they were condemned to death. Many times I had them whipped in the synagogues to try to get them to curse Christ. I was so violently opposed to them that I even hounded them in distant cities of foreign lands."

It is not just the Jews who ARE the persecutors, however, but ANY who don't Know and Understand the Truth of God's Word.

"For God, who commanded the Light to shine out of darkness, hath SHINED IN OUR HEARTS, to GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF Jesus Christ. (II Cor.4:6 KJV)

"But this precious treasure - this Light and Power that now shine WITHIN US - is held in perishable containers, that is, in our weak bodies. So everyone can see that our Glorious Power IS FROM GOD and is not our own. WE ARE PRESSED [persecuted - KJV] on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we do not give up and quit. We are hunted down [persecuted - KJV], but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. Through suffering, these bodies of ours constantly share in the death of Christ so that the Life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Yes, we live under CONSTANT DANGER OF DEATH because WE SERVE JESUS, so that the Life of Jesus will be obvious in our dying bodies. So we live in the face of death, but IT HAS RESULTED IN ETERNAL LIFE FOR YOU." (II Cor.4:7-12 NLT)

The Bible talks more about God's churches being persecuted by any and all outsiders [whether Jew or Gentile] for Knowing, Understanding, and Obeying the Scriptures... not the persecution of the Jews. And some of the worst persecutors turn out to be from within God's churches themselves... with Paul, one of, if not THE, churches' greatest leaders, being perhaps THE worst persecutor of all!

"For I am THE LEAST OF ALL THE APOSTLES, and I AM NOT WORTHY TO BE CALLED AN APOSTLE AFTER THE WAY I PERSECUTED THE CHURCH OF GOD. But WHATEVER I AM NOW, it is all because God poured out His Special Favor on me..." (I Cor.15:9-10 NLT).

"These people [antichrists, all - see verse 18] LEFT OUR CHURCHES BECAUSE THEY NEVER REALLY BELONGED WITH US; otherwise THEY WOULD HAVE STAYED WITH US, When THEY LEFT US, it PROVED THAT THEY DO NOT BELONG WITH US. But you are not like that, for the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and ALL OF YOU KNOW THE TRUTH. So I am writing to you not because you don't Know the Truth but because you Know the difference between Truth and falsehood." I John 2:19 NLT)

The persecutors recorded in the Bible are the ones who don't Know and Understand the Truth of the Scriptures [which only God can truly reveal to a humble, contrite, and trembling heart - see Isa.66:2].
