A broken rune stone typically symbolizes a disruption or loss of cultural identity, history, or communication within a society that once revered it. In Norse culture, rune stones were often used to commemorate individuals or significant events, so a broken stone may indicate a forgotten legacy or a severed connection to the past. Additionally, it can serve as a metaphor for the impermanence of life and the fragility of human achievements.

The "Locate Talisman" interaction with the talisman will guide you to the altar of whichever type the talisman is and if you click "Use Talisman" and use it on the ruins you will find once you arrive, it will transport you to the altar. This option allows you to craft runes that are used for magic casting in the game. To craft runes, use the talisman on the stone altar once you reach it to bring you inside the altar and use Rune Essence (see below) on the stone in the middle of the room. The Air Talisman is also a quest item as well as one of the items mentioned above. It is used in the quest called, "Rune Mysteries". After you complete the quest, you can get Rune Essence, which is basically a rune that hasn't been made into a specific one yet - so it's not a Earth Rune, Air Rune, Body Rune, etc. It's just a blank Rune.
