The Bible was written throughout the years for basic blueprint instructions, that would help those that need direction through others mistakes. Christ came and fulfilled the prophecy to protect mankind from powers and principalities hidden in high and dark places in the worlds system/high and low ranks of powers and dominion's. Christ also made a way to lean on Him for protection and the Holy Spirit will guide ones request when asked. He shed His blood for all, and we are protected by the Lamb of God from all devious positions from the world through His Holy word.
I think it wasn't written to protect anybody it was written to show God's way of salvation for Jews and Gentiles.
