You might be thinking of an old, false rumour associated with "Midnight Pass" or "WolfQuest: Midnight Pass" from late 2010, a fabricated third episode featuring werewolves and hunters. In truth the footage used chroma keyed assets from World of Warcraft, but you won't be able to see it for yourself as the original video was removed. The rumour was officially quashed by the WolfQuest Team confirming that, at the time, no such episode would ever exist. The reality is that there is no such place called "Midnight Pass" in Yellowstone National Park, where episodes of WolfQuest take place. As of 2014 version 2.5 will remain free but be aware that it is no longer being developed as all efforts are instead being focused on versions 2.7 and newer. However, the updated game is not free.At this time, the WolfQuest Team are developing episode 3 -- its official name is Tower Fall, another real location in Yellowstone National Park. Because the game is intended as an educational and realistic simulation intended to teach players about wolf ecology, there will be no werewolves nor hunters. (Hunting in Yellowstone is prohibited.)
There is another version of WolfQuest coming out, but it will be in September 2011. I don't think it's called Midnight Pass, but it does have night and day, sleeping actions and call kinds of awesome stuff, I just don't know what it's called! But in September 2011 you can download it from the WolfQuest site.
you type the wrong, but similar words to you game or what not and it should work. that's what i did.
You must first find a mate. To do this, you must go to each of the 3 areas that belong to a wolf, and interact with at least one wolf in each area. When you have done this, return to any area, and you will be able to find a mate. The game will guide you along, and you will eventually get pups.Actually, after you get a mate, you download wolfquest 2, slough creek, (its already out and wolfquest 3 is coming march 11 2011 and its called midnight pass, to find out more, go to you tube and type: wolfquest 3 videos) and you find a den, mark your territory, and then choose the names for your 4 pups, and see what colors they are. Hope this helps!win them
Midnight Pass is a rumour that was proven false by WQ Coordinator in November 2010, some time after the false episode was created. Proof of this in the related links/sources.The original trailer for Midnight Pass has since been removed from YouTube due to a copyright dispute, but it featured poor editing that was conclusive to it being fake. There are no werewolves or hunters in WolfQuest due to it based on a real-world location where real rules are applied. People are not allowed to hunt wolves in Yellowstone National Park nor are there such things as werewolves; because WolfQuest is aimed to be both educational and realistic, neither will appear in-game and the team strove to maintain the level of realism by replicating two real locations of Yellowstone: Amethyst Mountain and Slough Creek. The footage clearly used green-screening/chroma keying to cut-out a werewolf (possibly from World of Warcraft) and a human character possibly of the same game and lazily paste it into the WolfQuest game world environment; with the above statement in mind, it is proven false. Please refer to the sources and related links for full reading from an official WolfQuest Team Member. There is no such place as 'Midnight Pass' in Yellowstone, where the game is based upon, though camping/fishing is prohibited in the national park -- this is why, during Slough Creek, you see human impacts throughout the map (campfire remnants, an old boot, etc). :)
End of the may rotang pass may be open
There is no "WolfQuest 3" in development at the time of writing. This is simply a rumour called Midnight Pass that was a video on YouTube with some werewolf-like characters from Warcraft, I believe. For details, please refer to the link below, which contains an official response from an official WolfQuest Team Member, Cana (WQ Coordinator) with details on the subject. For further clarification, WolfQuest is based in/around the Yellowstone National Park area; episodes' names are the focus of a specific area. Amethyst Mountain and Slough Creek are both real areas of Yellowstone National Park; "Midnight Pass" is an invented name that doesn't exist in Yellowstone. The evidence resides in Cana's previously-mentioned post.Cheers! ^^
