No laws required accounting for firearms at that time. The firm underwent a reorganization about 1886, and was acquired by Savage Firearms about 1920. Savage has likely disposed of records they felt little need for years ago. Sorry.

Where can you find information about a rifle marked J Stevens Arms Company 1913 on the barrel and 26 Crackshot and SVG on the sides?

Blue Book of Gun Values, Standard Catalog of Firearms, etc. The Crackshot was one of the "boy's rifles" first manufactured by Stevens in the late 1800's, but the 1913 patent date means yours was made later. If you have written the entire company name as it appears on the gun, it was made sometime after 1920 when Stevens was bought by Savage Arms and before about 1948 when the Stevens line was discontinued.

What is a Stevens 4.10 gauge by savage arms worth?

Depends on it's condition. Stevens is antique and no-longer in business Stevens Arms was an American firearms manufacturer founded by Joshua Stevens in 1864. The company introduced the .22 Long Rifle round and made a number of rifle, shotgun, and target pistol designs before being bought by Savage Arms in 1920. After 1920, Stevens made training rifles and machine-guns for the US Military. Savage stopped using the Stevens brand by 1950. (wiki)

What information is available on Stevens shotguns?

Stevens shotguns have always been well-made and dependable. Nothing flashy that attracts the collectors with big money, but they'll throw a load of shot just as far and just as straight. I'd hesitate to guess how many have been produced, but it must be several million. In addition to guns bearing the Stevens name, the company also produced many single shot and double barrel shotguns marked with trade names for Montgomery Ward, Sears Roebuck, Western Auto and other retailers. The company was founded in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, in 1865 as J. Stevens and Company. The name was changed to J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company in 1886. In 1915 the production facilities were sold to New England Westinghouse and used to produce military rifles. In 1920, the name and manufacturing plant were purchased by Savage Arms and operated as a semi-independent subsidiary with the name J. Stevens Arms Company. Beginning about 1948 their guns were marked simply Stevens or both Stevens and Savage. The Stevens name was retired in 1991, but re-introduced on updated versions of the old Stevens Favorite rifles in 1999.

What is a 32 caliber Rev-O-Noc rifle that looks the same as a Stevens Crackshot?

It is a Stevens Crackshot that was made for HSB&Co, a hardware distributer in Chicago. Evidently, Revonoc is Conover spelled backward. The HSB rifles usually had a better finish that the standard Stevens. I have seen both Crackshot, Marksman and Little Scout 22 &32 rifles with this name. Stevens also made rifles for Sears and Montgomery Wards and put their brand names on them.
