Go to your local police station. Addtional info: Normally, you register with the local police departments, but that's only in the few states that require registration. Most U.S. states do not require it.
So I was in an accident that was my fault and it involved two other cars. One car was a taxi so their accident investigator came to the scene as well as the police. I was asked what happened by the police and I answered him and gave him my info, he asked the other two drivers as well. I received a ticket and was allowed to leave but I never gave the other two drivers my info. What happens now? Do I contact my insurance company? Are the other two drivers going to contact them, if so how? I'm very confused as to what to do. The cab company did give me there info so I have that but that's all. Any answers?
U need 2 do both>First call police then go from there.
Not enough info. What kind of police "report?" About what?
My bank gave my information to my dad, and i did not authorize this.
Yes, absolutely.
In Florida you need to give the other vehicle owner your info. If they are not in the car you need to put a note on their car with your info. Calling the police is best as you can get a police report to prove it. As long as you get your info to the other person or the police, it is NOT a Hit and Run. If you flee the scene without giving your info to the police or the other car owner, it IS a Hit and Run.
Call your bank and see if you can stop the transfer and call the police.
He gave it to Declan Boss.
Need a more specific example than simply "the"wrong info." Initial police reports are seldom 100% accurate in all respects. Police reports can, and routinely are, amended and corrected as the investigation of the incident goes forward.
