Mount Vernon is the home of George & Martha Washington.
George Washington's wife was Martha, Martha Dandridge Custis Washington. George Washington did not have any children ,but he happily lived with his wife Martha and spent most of his lifetime in Mount Vernon, located on the Potamic River in northern Virginia.

Monticello and Mount Vernon are both estates in Virginia which had been the homes of US presidents. Monticello was designed and built by Thomas Jefferson. It was his home for 56 years. George Washington inherited Mount Vernon from his half-brother, Lawrence Washington. George and Martha Washington lived there for nearly 50 years. They are both buried in tombs on the estate. Both Mount Vernon and Monticello have become national shrines, open to the public.

Martha Washington survived her husband and died at Mount Vernon. She was buried on May 22, 1802 at Mount Vernon. In 1831, her remains were moved from their original burial site a few hundred feet to a brick tomb that overlooks the Potomac River.

Yes. He had an older brother. When their father died George went to live with the older brother. In the 1700's the oldest male child inherited the estate. After his brother died Washington inherited the plantation called Mt. Vernon.
