The safety pin is a simple device usually made from either Iron or Plastic, and is currently provided world-wide. Most or all safety pins are made inside of their own states or countries; they're too simple of a mechanism in order to be shipped out in stocks to other surrounding countries. So, nobody introduced safety pins to Africa.

However, the first person who did invent the safety pin was American inventor Walter Hunt in April, 1849. It is noted that he sold rights to other inventors in 1849 for 500 dollars.
