My elderly father just received the same mailing signed by an individual using his very rare last name as well. According to the Arizona Secretary of State, Avant-Garde Financial Concepts registered in March 2009 describing its type of business as a "HOW TO MANUALS TO START BUSINESS / FINANCIAL PUBLICATION." The owner's full name is MAMMON FINANCIAL PUBLISHING, L.L.C. located at 4527 NORTH 16TH STREET, SUITE 101 PHOENIX, AZ 85016. Although Avant-Garde Financial Concepts is not a member of the Better Business Bureau, a relibilty report can be found on the BBB website. The BBB has given Avant Garde Financial Concepts (no hyphen) a C- based on very limited information. I think their marketing method is absolutely outrageous and unethical!

I got a letter from this same company today and guess what? He's signed his name as Robert T. Taylor, same last name as mine and asked if I were descended from a Taylor family in my state. I'm not. And, I'm also not falling for a scam from a person who lies about his last name and uses it as a hook.

Just to let you know. I Google them, then did a BBB search. Their rating with BBB is "F"!! Let us all take heed, save your money.

Just received a letter from ROBERT T, (my last name), suggesting I am a member of his scattered family and wants to inform me on how to become a millionaire in 90 days for only $35. If this company isn't a scam then I have never heard of one. What got me to really thinking about this company is the city and state of Phoenix, AZ. I had received a letter from this location in the past year and I sent a letter to them requesting additional info before I would sign up. Never heard back from the company.
