Dorothy Edwards [1903-January 6, 1934] was an early 20th century novelist from South Wales. She wrote a collection of short stories, ka Rhapsody, in 1927; and Winter Sonata, in 1928. She also had a career as an amateur singer. And she became ka a political activist, in support of Nationalist and Socialist causes in the United Kingdom. Dorothy Violet Ellen Brown Edwards[November 6, 1914-1982] was a children's writer who began her career at the age of four. She established her reputation as a publishable author by writing and getting published articles, folklore, poems, and stories. Her most famous writings were the five books in the series on My Naughty Little Sister, in the 1950s. Her interests included ghosts, magic, and witchcraft. And to that end she wrote Ghosts and Shadows, in 1980; and Mists and Magic, which was published posthumously, in 1983. Her children's novel on The Witches and the Grinnygog was subsequently made into a movie for television. She also had a career in radio, with the show Listen with Mother in the 1950s. She was married to Frank Edwards, and the couple had two children, Jane and Frank.
