Who is Dr Abnish Singh?

Dr. Abnish Singh Chauhan (b. 04th June 1979) obtained his M.Phil. (2003) and Ph.D. (2013) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, M.P., India. He has been teaching English and Communication Skills to both Under-graduate and Post-graduate students for the last ten years. Formerly he worked with the Department of English, IFTM University and the Department of Humanities, Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad, U.P., India. During his tenure in TMU he worked as Coordinator of Department of Humanities, Coordinator of Library Committee, ACS - Examination, Member of Research Committee, etc. His areas of academic and research interest include British Literature, Indian English Literature, Communication Skills and Contemporary Hindi Poetry and Criticism.

His publications include: Swami Vivekananda: Select Speeches, William Shakespear's King Lear: A Critical Study, Speeches of Swami Vivekananda and Subhash Chandra Bose: A Comparative Study, Functional Skills in English Language and Literature, Writing Skills and a Hindi poetry collection Tukada Kagaz Ka. He has also prepared course material, titled, A Passage to India: A Critical Study (Co-author), Silence! The Court is in Session: A Critical Study (Co-author) and A Quintessence of English Prose (Co-author) for Dr RMLA university, Faizabad, U.P.

Being an avid student of literature and language, Dr Singh has been editing an International Journal of Higher Education and Research and two web magazines - Poorvabhas and Bhashantar.
