CS UPTHEGROVE - A LIVING LEGEND

Destined from birth to be great, the great hurricane of 1928 that ripped through Florida, USA could not take the life of Evangelist CS Upthegrove, who was at that time a young boy. At just eight years old, after witnessing amazing miracles, he received a prophecy from Mother Ricks, a woman of God at a tent revival in Florida that he himself would be used mightily by God. At the age of 12, his life was threatened once again as he contacted deadly tuberculosis from his father. It was clear that there was a promise of God in his life as his life was continually preserved so he could answer the call. At 15 years old, he started preaching and from there, never looked back. Upon instruction from the Lord, he went on a fast and after many days seeking the face of God in the wilderness, he received an angelic visitation. On returning to his home, he began to see signs and wonders in his revival meetings, where the sick were healed and the demon possessed delivered. It was then in 1965 that AA Allen, a personal friend and fiery healing evangelist sent him a letter inviting him to pastor his church in Miracle Valley, Arizona. He stayed there two years and saw the mighty hand of God at work in the ministry as people came from far and wide to receive their healing and deliverance. Now, nearing 84, an author and father of four, Evangelist Upthegrove still travels across the United States and the world, ministering the Gospel and seeing the mighty power of God working miracles in people's lives.
