Lennie dies when George shoots him in the back of the head during the final chapter (chapter 6). George shoots Lennie to spare Lennie from being lynched by Curley and his mob. Curley is an angry, violent man who wouldn't listen to reason (reason being - that Lennie never meant to kill Curley's wife, and that her death was purely an accident), and also because he wants revenge since Lennie busted his hand.
Lennie is a character in John Steinbeck's novel "Of Mice and Men." He is a mentally disabled man with tremendous physical strength who relies on his friend, George, to guide and protect him. Lennie's innocence and inability to control his strength lead to tragic consequences in the story.
In the story of "Of Mice and Men" Lennie Small is a migrant ranch worker travelling to a town called Solidad with a man called George. Lennie suffers from a mental disability, and has a love for the fell of soft things. Lennie is one of the main protagonists of the play along with George. Can't tell too much without giving away spoilers though.
I'm pretty sure it is Auburn. Not 100% sure though.
He is a large, bulky man that travels around with his friend George. Lennie himself is not the brightest bulb in the bunch.
We can say that Lennie was probablyy born in around 1905 in possibly Oklahoma near George Milton. Most migrant workers were from the Great Plains
