Ryan Romany, owner of Worldbeat Studios in Tunapuna, Trinidad. Produced songs for several artistes including Chris Garcia's (Chutney Bacchanal), Denise Belfon, Ajala, David Rudder, M'ba, Kurt Allen, Marcia Miranda, Byron Lee, Manchild, De Illest, Nisha Bissambar, Triveni, Melobugs to name a few. Stopped Studio work for a few years. Is in the process of restarting in Tunapuna in July 2009. Ryan played the guitar in several bands including Majors, Shandileer, Sound Revolution, Taxi, Treveni, Melobugs, Indi Art, Hypnotiq and others. Toured with top international artistes as a guitarist like Percy Sledge. Performed in bands as opening Acts for performers like Luther Vandross, Roberta Flack, Brothers Johnsons, L T D, to name a few. Managed several artistes including Chris Garcis, Denise Belfon, Ajala, Kurt Allen, M'ba, Manchild, Daddy Chinee, Marcia Miranda and Impulse. Was the recipient of the award for Best sound Engineer in 1996 and was nominee for Best Producer, Best Arranger and others. Presently Ryan Romany is one of the judges of Synergy's "Chutney Star." He was also a Judge in the National Chutney Soca Monarch Competition for the past few years and is considered a valuable advisor with respect to the promotion and the development of the culture.
