Strawberry is the name of the old London cabby's faithful horse. Strawberry becomes one of the first talking animals of Narnia, and his owner, the cabby becomes the first King, placed in charge of the newly created Narnians.
In "The Magician's Nephew" by C.S. Lewis, Strawberry is a guinea pig that is enchanted into a larger size by Uncle Andrew's magic. Strawberry gains the ability to speak and becomes a minor character in the story.
He's the horse that is taken to Narnia by mistake. When it gets to Narnia, he also speaks!

Magicians Nephew by C.S. Lewis
The Magician's Nephew represents Earth. It is all about the creation of Narnia by Aslan, comparable to God's creation of our planet.
In "The Magician's Nephew," someone brought a yellow ring for Mabel Kirke from India as a gift.
A very special Apple
Polly Plummer, a boy named Digory, Digory's Uncle Andrew, a witch named Jadis, and Aslan the great lion. There is also a London cabby and his horse named Strawberry but these two are IMHO secondary.
"Narnia: The Magician's Nephew" by C.S. Lewis has an AR (Accelerated Reader) points value of 8.0.
An interesting book by C.S. Lewis, in my opinion, is " The Magicians Nephew.
