Many of the Sun Tzu's precepts and techniques are parallel to Zen Buddhist thoughts on the instantaneous appreciation of the whole. Therefore all military leaders may be said to practice a limited form of Buddhism.

The postures is just a small fraction of the religious practice. The postures are supposed to be used as a method of training the mind as is sitting meditation. But the fundamentals of Yoga, that is peaceful living, compassion, kindness non-violence, are incorporated in Buddhism and Jainism.
