Therapists help you figure yourself out. Counselors guide your career and college placement.
Both "councillor" and "councilor" are correct spellings, but "councillor" is typically used in British English, while "councilor" is more common in American English.
Talk to your school councilor, and school nurse. They can sit down with you and your parents, to explain to them that it's not just something you decided, but something you NEED to do to be happy. They will also advise your parents on how to get you started. At the very least they need to get you started with a gender therapist and anti-androgen pills. Anti-androgen simply block the effects of testosterone on your body, delaying your masculation. The effects are NOT permanent, should you stop taking them, nature will continue on it's course as if you never took them. Thus giving you more time to come to understand who you are, with a gender therapist guiding you. As such, there is no reason your parents should refuse to allow you that(other than money). If you parents still refuse after talking with your school councilor and nurse, there is a slim possibility your councilor can help you get a court order to force your parents to help you get treatment. Such a move is a huge risk to their career, but councilors have the jobs they do because they care. It never hurts to ask.
