I think both
x chromsones/y chromosomes
Chromosomes contain the DNA of many characteristics that humans may have - gender, hair color, eye color, skin color, etc. Humans have forty-six chromosomes. Chromosomes are often paired together - humans have twenty-three chromosome pairs. 46; 23 from each of my parents. ---- Humans have 22 pairs of somatic chromosomes and 1 pair of sex chromosomes, for a total of 23 pairs. Female have two X sex chromosomes and males have one X and one Y sex chromosome.
The genes carried on the X and Y chromosomes are called your "sex chromosomes".
Chromosomes that are not X or Y are called homologous chromosomes and autosomal chromosomes. The first 22 pairs of human chromosomes are autosomal.
A baby with two X chromosomes is female.
x chromsones/y chromosomes
The gene for eye color is only carried on the X chromosome. Since females have two X chromosomes and white is recessive, there are no white-eye females.
Why? Because you can't be just a nothing, you have to have something in common with parents and you can't have a plain face! If you get two x chromosomes you will be a girl but if you get one y chromosome, you end up being a boy. Either way you will have two chromosomes and one of them will be an x.
carried on the X chromosomes
The locus for eye color is on the X chromosome.
You do not get color blindness, you are either born with it or not born with it. It is on the X chromosome. A male has one X chromosome. A woman has 2 X chromosomes. If one X chromosome does not have red-green capability and the man has that chromosome, then he is color blind. A woman can have one color blind chromosome and one non-color blind chromosome and she will not be color blind. The ability to see blue and yellow is on chromosome number 7. Everyone has two of those. A man can only have 3 color chromosomes. Women can have 4 color chromosomes. Since the chromosomes can be slightly different, women can frequently see far more color variations than men can see.
drak blue
In sonic x her eyes are green but in comics her eye color was purple, blue, and green

X chromosomes (X,X)
Color blindness is a sex-linked genetic disorder. The reason that it is more prevalent in males is because the disorder is linked the the X-chromasome. If a male inherits an X chromosome that is defective, then they will be color blind. However, a female has two X chromosomes which means she can receive a defective chromosome and only be a carrier of the mutation. If she receives two defective x chromosomes, she will be colorblind.
The X and Y chromosomes are called the "Sex Chromosomes". Both the X and Y chromosome are part of the "sex-determining system" that helps determine the sex characteristics in humans. In the system, females have two X chromosomes (XX) while males have an X and a Y chromosome (XY).
