A joint session of Parliament in India is called primarily to resolve a deadlock between the Lok Sabha (House of the People) and the Rajya Sabha (Council of States) over a bill. It can also be convened for other significant occasions, such as the address by the President at the beginning of the parliamentary session. The President summons the joint session, which is usually held in the Central Hall of Parliament.
He was elected by the Italian Parliament ,that is by Senate and Chamber of Deputies reunited in a joint session.
The President of India has the authority to call a joint session of the two houses of Parliament in India. This can be done to break a deadlock on a particular bill if it has been passed by one house but rejected by the other, under Article 108 of the Indian Constitution.

In the absence of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, the Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha presides over the joint session of Parliament. If the Deputy Speaker is also unavailable, the President of India may appoint a member of the Lok Sabha to preside over the session. This ensures that the proceedings can continue smoothly even without the Speaker present.
The President does not have the power to call a joint session of Congress. However, the President does have the authority to request a joint session, where both the House and Senate convene. Joint sessions are typically called for important events, such as the State of the Union address.
