Say for example here in the U.S., people working in construction sites can visit OSHA for their health and safety guidelines, people working in mining sites can visit MSHA for it. The law in most countries works top down i.e. It is the Boards responsibility to ensure that the laws of that country in relationship to the Health And Safety and complied with and this is cascaded to all employees and recorded that training in all aspects are undertaken and complied with. Further to this most countries will have a dedicated Government department tasked with overseeing the laws and ensuring compliance or take litigative steps to force the person/company to comply
