Actually, the idea of the "beserker warrior" takes the place of a god of ecstasy in Norse mythology. Many people seem to think that Loki was, but in fact, he is the trickster god in the Norse pantheon. There is a world of difference between the two, as a trickster god would be an active deity that torments the other gods (like Coyote), while an ecstasy deity would instead indulge in and encourage the taboo-breaking feral impulses within human nature for a pure enjoyment of physical existance (like several facets of Shiva) but they are different & seperate ideas (see the differences between Hermes and Dionysus).
