The God of Sikhs is same as God of Christians or Allah of Muslims or Rama of Hindus. The core concept of Sikhism is the term ੴ (Ek Ongkar) which means "There is Only One God for All". The belief is that the creator of all humans is the same but you may choose to call him by different names based on your religion, language, or heritage. The Sikh scriptures "Sri Guru Granth Sahib" uses multiple names to refer to God as the Sikh Gurus gave the divine message in local languages to the people. The most common name used by Sikhs for God is Waheguru (ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ) which means "The Wonderful Teacher".
