Linkin Park's was founded by Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson along with Rob Bourdon. After graduating from high school, they began to take their musical interests more seriously. They hired Jow Hahn, Dave Farrel and Mark Wakefield to start a band, Xero. It was later renamed Hybrid Theory and then Linkin Park. On the way Mark left the band and Chester came in to become the voice of band.
