The first mention of people being blind is in the Old Testmant in the book of Deuteronomy in chapter 27 verse 18. It mentions blind people in general. I think Samson is the first person mentioned by name to be blinded. Check on the internet on an internet Bible. You can search by the word "blind" in one of those internet Bibles.
