gaia isnt a god she is like mother nature
Technically, the Roman goddess Diana was the goddess of nature, as well as of fertility childbirth, wildwood, moon, forests, animals, mountains, woods, women, and the moon. She was variously known as Mother of Creatures, the Huntress or Destroyer, and Goddess of the hunt. However, other gods/goddesses often had specific realms of nature that they governed. For example(s), Ceres was goddess of corn and grain crops; Jupiter was the god of the sky, lightning, and thunder; Neptune was god of the sea and its creatures; and Mars (far from being only "god of war") was also god of spring, growth in nature, and agriculture.
There wasn't just one, many had different aspects:Ceres- goddess of crops and harvest.Diana- wild animals, wilderness and the moon.Faunus- god of the forest, plains and fields.Flora- goddess of flowers and the spring.Fufluns- god of plant life and growth in all things.Nemestrinus- god of the forests and woods.Ops- goddess of fertility and the earth.Pilumnus- nature god.Pomona- orchards and gardens.Silvanus- woods and fields and protector of forestsTerra- goddess of the earth.
Aphrodite is the goddess of love: she has no "job" (in fact, no Greek god or goddess has a job from which they earn income) but if her nature as a goddess was a "job", then she would enjoy what her nature is - love and beauty in all it's forms.
A secret is meant to be kept, not told. If a Greek god or goddess "faded" they then became a part of the nature that they were god/goddess of.
Well, the Greek god of nature is Pan,and Gaea wasnature,so I guess that leaves Persephone.
Saturn was the Roman god of Agriculture and the Harvest, while Ceres was goddess of nature and the fertility of the earth.
NO! wiccans do not worship Jesus. that's christians. we have our own goddess and god and believe that they are in nature therefore we worship nature.
The short answer is, Yes. We believe in God and a Goddess (everything in nature works on the coupling of male and female so why would there only be a Male God?)
