Medea was a character in Greek mythology, known for being a sorceress and the wife of Jason, the hero of the Argonauts. She helped Jason in his quest for the Golden Fleece, but later betrayed him due to his infidelity.
The treasure that Jason was after was the Golden Fleece, a magical fleece said to bring prosperity to the land it was placed in.
Jason, the Greek hero, led the Argonauts on the quest to find the Golden Fleece. The Golden Fleece was a symbol of authority and kingship, and Jason sought it to reclaim his rightful throne.
