Who is the intelligent inventor from the watchtower for the madness to prohibit the giving of blood but allow to receive the secondary blood fractions in any case it is not Jehovah?

Answer 1The taking of blood fractions is up to the individual to decide. This is because the Bible does not say anything about these fractions, and some people feel they are blood so they will not take them. Others feel they are NOT blood so it is OK to take them.

We do know that Jehovah said to "abstain from blood" in Acts 15:28, 29, so we do abstain.

Answer 2:The most important fact is to evaluate the watchtower in all the former teachings before judging their interpretation of "abstain from blood". This was a life saving arrangement.

The bible does also say nothing about the primary fractions. Although they are also prohibited.

The watchtower allows the secondary blood fractions because they can pass the barrier of the placenta between mother and fetus and vice versa. They prohibit the primary blood fractions. Although white blood cells and red blood cells passes also the same barrier. Even white blood cells are in great mass present in the mother's milk. This natural migration from cells are to protect the life of the mother and the life of fetus and baby.

Christian response to the QuestionThe refusal of Jehovah's Witnesses to accept blood is not only unscriptural but is also very unChristian - and foolish in the extreme. The JWs base their whole argument on just two passages from scripture; one verse in Acts 15:29 and another in Leviticus. The Levitical Law of Moses was superceded by the gospel of Jesus Christ and so the Levitical law no longer applies to Christians. Christians, therefore, can eat all manner of foods (including pork and shellfish that were banned by Levitical Law) and food that was offered to 'idols' and do not need to be circumcised.

However, The JWs still cite Acts as the rule not to 'take blood'. In true JW fashion they take this verse totally out of context, ignore the Greek original with its nuances, and mis-translate and misunderstand just to what Luke was referring in his account.

If you read the previous verses in Acts 15, there is an argument among the Christians regarding circumcision, and other Jewish religious practices as there were some Pharisees who were lawkeepers who had become Christians and they were convinced that all Jews who converted to Christianity should still be circumcised. The actual quote in question comes from a letter that Paul sent to the people in that church to quell the dissent. The problems arose when Jews who wished to carry on with the old practices in the Levitical Law (ie not eating blood, not eating meat that had been offered to idols, and not engaging in sexual immorality) wanted to become Christians. If those Christians who were gentiles or were Jews who had abandoned the leviticval Laws were to encourage the new Christians, then Paul made it clear that they should take care not to offend them. Paul's advice, therefore, was that they should not eat blood nor meat offered to idols in case the new Christians were offended - although historical records from that time suggest that non-kosher meat (ie not drained of blood) was perfectly acceptable to all Christians, and that there is much historical evidence of early Christians eating non-kosher meat. It is a bit like me, a pork eater, not serving up pork if I have a Jewish guest in the house, as it may well offend him. However, the advice 'not to eat blood' has nothing to do with any rule of life for a Christian, but was included so that new Jewish converts to Christianity would not be offended.

Furthermore, the verb used in this verse in Greek does not mean to 'take into oneself' but means, as it did in Levitical Law, to 'take into your stomach as nourishment'. So the JWs have got it wrong on two accounts. Firstly, the verse was never meant to be a rule of life for Christians. Secondly, even if it was a rule of life, it meant the "taking of blood into the stomach as nourishment" - and not as a blood transfusion which is not nourishment, but is used to preserve life. So I can partly understand JWs not eating a rare steak, but not their insane rules on blood transfusions.

I say insane, but sadly, their misguided rules have caused the deaths of many JWs and others over the years. If they wish to allow themselves to die that is their right. However, last year, near where I live in the UK, two JW parents watched their little girl die after a minor operation that developed complications and needed a blood transfusion to save her. The parents refused and the innocent young girl died in pain a few hours later. Under human rights laws in the UK the doctors and nurses were powerless to act despite their begging of the parents to change their mind. If that is 'Christianity', then that is a different religion to the warm, loving, relationship with God, where all life is sacred, that I enjoy.

Response to Above answerIt is not proven that if someone takes blood they will live for sure and what if a person such as a parent goes against their belief thinking their child will live and the child still dies... the parent will live the rest of their life with guilt that they went against what what Jehovah has set in the bible. Or what if the child contracts a disease through blood transfusion that lowers quality of life such as hepatitis or HIV. Did you know stored blood also has an expiration date and sometimes not noticed until its to late. And certain blood borne diseases can not be found until months after it is contracted. HIV/AIDS can't be found in a blood test until at least 6 months later and even then it wont surface until years later. All this information was found by doing research and not personal opinion. And did you know there are many many many safer alternatives to blood... Google blood transfusion alternatives and you will find that JWs are not the only ones who arent taking blood. People are starting to educate themselves more and choosing alternatives.

If you have lost critical amount of blood then there is only one medical care that can protect the life of a person and that is a blood transfusion. Several objective medical research proves that the risk of diseases as a consequence of blood transfusion is actually very small. Blood transfusions have saved the life of billions and billions of people. In 1945 in the dutch "Consolation" "Vertroosting" the watchtower wrote that bloodtransfusion was an act of charity and that Jehovah never had forbidden a bloodtransfusion, that only Pharisees prohibit bloodtransfusion…a few years later the watchtower decided to become Pharisees.

The most important is first of all read all the former teachings of the Watchtower before judging their blood policy.

The silent witness of all their teaching is their former literature. The teachings from Russell, Rutherford (Woodworth also worthwhile), Knorr, … is an eye-opening sight from the truth about the "TRUTH".

Read about all their teaching always using the words: "biblical evidences proves that… the bible learns that…".

Read about all their false prophesies on date in the literature off the watchtower (1914, 1915, 1918, 1925, 1941, 1975 concerning the Armageddon), their prohibition of vaccinations and transplantation, their medical and scientific quack, their secret involvement with their so called worst enemy: the beast of Babylon (the UNO), their standing for the nazi doctrine in the 1934 yearbook and "declaration of facts", the double standard for Malawi and Mexico, their profiling as a cultural organization in Mexico, the rape of the word to word translation from the bible with the purpose to adapt their former teachings, manipulating and falsifying medical and scientific evidences proving that thousands of good people are killed by their former prohibition of vaccinations, transplantation and actual prohibition of blood and blood fractions, have the cheek to prohibit independent thinking, social isolation from the rest of the world, an eternal contract not only to Jehovah BUT also to their HUMAN organization by their baptismal ceremony, … hundreds of facts as a silent witness….

The watchtower learns Jehovah witnesses to ABSTAIN from white blood cells or even red blood cells, while this cells migrate on a natural way from the mother to the fetus and vice versa in order to protect LIFE from the mother and the fetus or baby.
