Who is the leader of the religion judaism?
Asked in Christianity, Judaism
Who is Judaism's religious leader?
Judaism is not centralized today and has no single worldwide leader. (Judaism is a Congregationalist religion.) In the past, one religious leader of Judaism was Abraham, who founded Judaism. Also, another notable leader was Aaron. Aaron was the founder of the priesthood. Answer Judaism does not have a central religious leader. People who practice Judaism attend synagogue services that are led by a Rabbi.
Who is Judaism's current leader?
The closest there is to a 'current leader' in Judaism is the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, that gives the 'most authoritative' interpretation of the law; precisely how authoritative it is, however, is a matter for a 'characteristic divergence of opinions' to put it simply, in Judaism :) Answer: Judaism hasn't had a single leader for two thousand years, let alone a current one. Each Jewish community has its own Rabbi or Rabbis. Answer: There is no "current leader" in Judaism as Judaism is not a centralised religion.
