He helped popularize Chicago Electric Blues. Waters also influenced numerous artists such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Eric Clapton. Waters was the most influential and well-known blues artist of the time and is considered the Father of Chicago Blues.
Willie Dixon was a Grammy Award winning blues singer during the 1950's and 1960's. He was one of the best known songwriters of his time and the most influential person in shaping the sound of Chicago Blues.
Robert Cray is a famous blues guitarist and singer. He has won five Grammy Awards, and has had hits such as "Smoking Gun", "Right Next Door", and "Time Makes Two".
B.B. King is a famous blues guitarist, known for his bee-sting vibrato technique. He has written some of the most famous blues songs of all time, including "The Thrill is Gone" and "Sweet Little Angel". B.B. King has performed tirelessly throughout his career while maintaining a sense of humbleness and has influenced most blues guitarists that followed him.
The role of a guitarist is to play most of the main tune depending on the song they are playing. A bass guitar also plays at the same time as the lead guitarist.
