They worship the Christian God, and Baptist is a branch of Christianity. There are many types of Baptist, and it is believed to have started as a result of the Reformation.
The Presider's chair is where the priest sits
The Presider's Chair is the priest's chair to sit on during the Mass:)
My family's place of worship is the Baptist Church down the street.
There are some in the Catholic Church who use the word "presider" to refer to the priest (or Bishop) celebrant at Mass. Technically this is incorrect as the word presider is not used in any official Church documents, while the word "celebrant" refers to the priest or bishop who presides at a Mass. The word "celebrant" is used in the GIRM and the CCC.
Yes. The Baptist Church honors the advent season, usually with the traditional advent candles, and other sacred worship.
The fire and the holy water.
John the Baptist, is accorded a special status, higher than his role in Christianity. Mandaeans do not consider John to be the founder of their religion but revere him as one of their greatest teachers, tracing their beliefs back to Adam. Mandaeans believe that Jesus was a false messiah and that he perverted the teachings given to him by John. They view John the Baptist as a savior, but not as God, so they do not worship him in the way that Christians worship Jesus.
The pastor and the worship leader(music director, usually) plan the service then the worship leader guides the congregation and lay leaders in the worship. The pastor gives the message(sermon) and invitation.
Robes are not one of the ordinances of the worship service of a Baptist church, they are irrelevant to the worship service. Robes do not identify any kind of hierarchical position. Sometimes the choir uses them to have a common dress. There is no verse in the Bible that discusses wearing robes in the church.
