For physics, the only physicist that won 2 Nobel prizes is John Bardeen in 1956 and 1972. Both awards were presented to him to honor his work on transistors and superconductivity respectively.

Marie Curie won the Nobel Prize in Physics and Chemistry in 1903 and 1911 respectively.

Linus Pauling won the Nobel Prize but only one of the prizes was in Physics. The other was the peace prize.

Frederick Sanger received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1958 and 1980.
